Coating Method Of Coated Fabric
- Jun 20, 2017 -

The coated fabric is a textile, coated adhesive material in the fabric side or positive and negative sides in situ to form a single layer or multi-layer coating. Consisting of two or more layers of material, at least one of which is a textile, and the other is a completely continuous polymer coating.

The coated fabric belongs to the composite material, which can be considered as a simple two-layer fabric. The next layer is the base fabric, the top layer is coated. The same coating has a different effect, of course, the coating will have enhanced search results.

Coated fabric coating method should be selected according to product requirements, Coated Woven Fabric common coating methods are the following:

Dry method

This method is a traditional process, the method is relatively simple, as long as the coating agent with solvent or water dilution as required concentration, and add the necessary agents and colorants dubbed coating, coated with a coater evenly coated on the cloth , And then by drying, baking, Coated Woven Fabric so that the solvent or water evaporation, in the base fabric to form a layer of tough film.

The process is: the base roll → coating → drying → rolling (or copy) → cooling → finished volume on the volume.

Wet method

Dissolved in dimethylformamide (DMF) coating agent (such as polyurethane), made of coated pulp, coated, immersed in water into a solidified film. As the DMF and water infinite miscible, dissolved in water DMF, and polyurethane insoluble in water, the concentration increased rapidly, and finally deposited on the base fabric above. During the solidification of the coating, DMF exerts a sharp exudation from the polyurethane due to the action of the semipermeable membrane, resulting in pores of the channel perpendicular to the surface of the film. Therefore, the surface of the polymer film is porous, and if the diameter of these micropores is controlled within 0.5 to 5 m, Coated Woven Fabric it is possible to produce a moisture-proof and moisture-proof and moisture-proofing cloth. Wet coating process is: the base roll → coating → impregnation in aqueous solution coagulation → drying → cooling → finished roll.

Melting method

It is the thermoplastic resin as a coating agent coated on the base fabric, when used, with hot pressing roll or iron hot pressing, so that the original coated on the base of the dot-like, linear or mesh resin again melted , Bonded to the fabric in the processing, commonly used in bonding collar lining. The process flow depending on the coating method, the following are common.

Sprinkle powder method

Is the powder resin with electromagnetic vibration device, so that the powder evenly spread on the base fabric, and then do not touch the oven (or infrared tube) for fixation. Coated Woven Fabric This method commonly used ethylene vinyl acetate coating agent, referred to as EVA lining cloth processing.

Powder point method

Is coated on two hot rollers and one engraving roller combination. The upper part of the carving roller has a coating agent and a scraper, the resin falls into the corrugated groove of the engraving roller, and the fabric is heated by the roll. The cloth temperature can reach l60 ~ 180 ℃. In the contact with the engraving roller, Into the point of the transfer. The temperature of the hot roller is controlled at 160 ~ 240 ℃, Coated Woven Fabric the transfer temperature of the nylon powder is about 55 ℃, and the polyethylene powder is about 95 ℃.

Pulp method

Mainly used for nonwovens, the basic process with the rotary screen printing.

Transfer film formation method

It is first coated with the coating on the silicone pretreatment of the transfer paper or metal belt, and then the base paper and the transfer paper surface by the surface of the roll by the transfer roller to the base fabric, after cooling, the transfer paper and Processing fabric separation Serve. The method is mainly used for thin and loose tissue and more sensitive to the tension of a class of fabrics, such as leno, knitted fabrics, nonwovens, etc., the whole machine running drying equipment are used mesh belt conveyor.

The process is: transfer paper coating → paper stacking → rolling → cooling → transfer paper and coated fabric separation roll.
